A word about the series points...

Hey folks. Have got some kinda bad news. It seems that by ranking times and having series points we were inching towards the competitive side of our non-competitive timed practices. So BC have asked us to stop the series points so that we don't invalidate our club insurance.

As you know, we need this insurance for the Forestry Commission to allow us to hold the practices on their land. And the alternative - getting full race insurance - brings with it a lot of cost and additional requirements that aren't in the grassroots spirit of the Racer's Guild.

We have contacted CTC to see if they can offer us a different insurance package. Will let you know what's up there. But until we can get something else worked out, there will only be your times posted, along with ranking for non-competitive purposes only.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. RESULTS are posted for Feb 14!
